Complete Task Dialog

Single Item Selected

Business Rules

  • If the task is date-based, the "Date" input will be required.
  • If the task is meter-based, the "Meter" input will be required, the "Meter" field is required for all maintenance items with Running Hour periodicities:
    • Maintenance based on Running Hours.
    • Maintenance based on dual periodicity:  Running Hours and Calendar.
  • The "Special Tests Data" button will be disabled when an item that doesn't require special test data is selected.

Business Rules
  • Clicking on the Download icon will provide the user with an Excel Spreadsheet containing a list of the failed items.
  • Double-clicking on any row items will launch the item details screen.

Date and Meter Use Cases

Business Rules

Use Case Input Error Dialog
  • Upon Save, the Date can be no further in the future than Current Date +1 to account for different time zones.
Date -
  • Upon Save, the Meter value cannot be more than 1000 hours different from Running Hours Log Meter reading (VesselsEquipmentRunHoursHistory) within 90 days of the Complete Date, unless no meter reading exists within 90 days of the Complete date.
    • If the Current Calendar date is within 90 days of Complete Date, and Meter Reading is Required, then user cannot Complete Running Hours PM until user fills in Running Hours Log Current Meter Reading for Equipment.
  • Upon violation, error dialog will be presented (see right)
    • Selecting the button "Enter Running Hours" launches the Running Hours Modal.

  • If the maintenance is not performed in an Availability (PM/Workbook use cases) the date shall never be after the workbook schedule end date displayed to the right of the ship name in the Workbook module.
    • If the current date is before the schedule end date, the default date shall be today's date.
    • If the current date is after the schedule end date, the default date shall be the schedule end date.
Date -
  • The Default Meter reading will be the closest Meter Reading to the Complete Date that the User chooses from the SAMM.VesselsEquipmentRunHoursHistory table, but must be within 90 days of the Date chosen. 
  • Upon violation, error dialog will be presented (see right)
    • Selecting the button "Enter Running Hours" launches the Running Hours Modal.
